Do I have to have a reference image for my costume?

If you are being judged on craftsmanship in the Masquerade or participating in the Hall Cosplay competition it is HIGHLY reccomended you bring printed reference material with you for the judges to keep with your entrant application/info.  Part of the points in craftsmanship/hall judging go toward accuracy and judges cannot be expected to have perfect recall for every design they've ever seen nor be familiar with every character.
