City

Tekkoshocon is located in downtown Pittsburgh, PA, at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. This state-of-the-art "green" building boasts over 1.5 million square feet of event space in total and features stunning views of the city. Tekkoshocon occupies the south half of the third floor, including the Spirit of Pittsburgh Ballroom, and the entire fourth floor of the convention center.

The David L. Lawrence Convention Center is convenient to I-279 from the north and I-376 from the east and west. Ample parking is available at the convention center, at our official hotel, and in nearby public and private lots. Amtrak and Greyhound stations are located within a block of the convention center. Additionally, the Port Authority of Allegheny County provides frequent bus service to and from Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT), which features non-stop flights to over 100 domestic and international destinations.

Want to get away for a bit? Tekkoshocon is minutes from some of Pittsburgh's best-loved destinations. Hop a "T" across the river to Station Square where you'll find a thriving nightlife scene and a vast selection of restaurants. From there, ride the incline up to the top of Mt. Washington and enjoy an amazing panoramic view of Pittsburgh and its surrounding communities. If you're hungry for a taste of the local cuisine, check out the Strip District, where ethnic grocers offer up a global feast -- and the original Primanti Brothers restaurant serves up a variety of sandwiches topped with fries and coleslaw.
